Toronto, ON – October 30, 2025 — Elocity Technologies Inc., a leading Canadian smart-EV charging technology company, is proud to announce its Richmond Centre EV Charging Project has been recognized as one of Canada’s 2026 Clean50 Top Projects, celebrating innovation and leadership in sustainability and clean technology.
The recognition was presented at the Clean50 Summit, acknowledging Elocity and its project partners for their groundbreaking contribution to advancing smart, scalable, and sustainable EV-charging infrastructure across Canada.
Developed in collaboration with Enlightened Building Technologies Inc. and OZZ Electric BC, the Richmond Centre initiative sets a new benchmark for large-scale residential EV charging and demonstrates how technology and partnerships can drive real-world decarbonization.
The award was received by Sanjeev Singh, Founder and CEO of Elocity; Jack Bittan, CEO of Enlightened Building Technologies; David Recchia, Executive Vice President of OZZ Electric BC; and Chris Buligan, General Manager of Enlightened Clean Energy
A Landmark in Canada’s Clean Mobility Transition
Located in Richmond, British Columbia, the project represents Canada’s largest multi-residential smart EV charging deployment, featuring 1,212 AC chargers powered by Elocity’s proprietary HIEV™ smart-charging platform.
The initiative exemplifies how Canadian technology and collaboration can converge to accelerate EV adoption at scale — ensuring equitable access to clean mobility while supporting national climate goals.
“This recognition is a proud moment for everyone at Elocity and our partners,” said Sanjeev Singh, Founder & CEO of Elocity. “The Richmond Centre project demonstrates how intelligent technology, strong partnerships, and a shared vision for sustainability can redefine the future of EV charging infrastructure — not just in Canada, but globally.”
“Projects like Richmond Centre show that bold, collaborative action can move clean-energy solutions from concept to scale,” said Jack Bittan, CEO of Enlightened Building Technologies. “Addressing the lack of charging infrastructure, particularly in multi-residential buildings, is one of the most effective ways to facilitate EV adoption. Canada has world-class innovation, and when we execute with confidence, we set a global example for what’s possible.”
Pioneering Smart, Secure, and Scalable EV Infrastructure
Elocity’s end-to-end full-stack solution — integrating hardware, software, and energy management services — enables real-time load balancing, data privacy compliance, and integration with utilities and sub-metering systems.
The Richmond Centre deployment serves as a future-ready model for sustainable urban electrification, empowering property owners, residents, and utilities to participate in Canada’s clean energy transition.
